Margery (Margie) Yeager came to Education Sector on a rotation from her Presidential Management Fellowship at the U.S. Department of Education. In her work at the Department of Education, which she completed in July 2007, she oversaw evaluations of the Transition to Teaching grant program, 21st Century Community Learning Centers, and flexibility provisions under No Child Left Behind. She holds a bachelor's degree from Tufts University and taught second grade in the D.C. public schools with Teach for America before returning for her M.P.P from Harvard University. Margie is currently the Chancellor's Critical Response Team Leader at the D.C. Public Schools.
