Sara Mead
Sara Mead is a senior research fellow with the New America Foundation, a nonprofit, post-partisan public policy institute. In this role she writes and conducts research on early childhood, elementary, and secondary education. Before joining the New America Foundation in July 2007, Mead was a senior policy analyst with Education Sector, where she worked on issues related to preschool and choice and diversity in public education. Mead has also worked for the Progressive Policy Institute, where she remains a non-resident fellow, the U.S. Department of Education, and the Gore 2000 presidential campaign.
